I just got a makeover!

A serious virtual makeover courtesy of ArtFire.com. They recently released a whole new look for artist, supplier, designer and vintage shops.
Over the past 5 weeks shop owners have been given access to a live preview theme editor to help with the transition, play around with their shop branding and redesign their shop.

I’ve been having such fun making new beads and networking on facebook that I thought it was about time to refresh my shops. With a lovely new graphic added to facebook first job was to echo that in my shops. New banners new avatars and new photos. More

New Stockist in Newark.

Imagine my delight when I walked through the Buttermarket in Newark early April and saw this beautiful new shop bursting with an array of sweet scented candles, beautiful bags, plaques and a host of other delightful chic items. Add in the fact that every item in the shop is handmade by some fabulous local artists. Heaven!

Testing Wigwags

Always good fun, getting sent things to try out. I’ve had some lovely wigwags sent to me by Madeline Bunyan to test out in my beads.
Free glass, well you can’t say no, the catch? Give her feedback on them so she could develop a range of them for other lampworkers. But there’s no fun in playing with something and not telling everyone.

Addicted to Sculptural Beads

I have a new passion, when I first started glass bead making it was all about beads (ok that sounds a little obvious but bear with me…) It was all about traditional beads. Round ones, lentils… normal bead shapes.
I just wanted to make my beads for jewellery and be proud to say I did all of that.
